Andric also stood out in her singles match, winning her team-leading fifth victory of the year in straight sets. She has registered at least one victory in all but one of her five matches since transferring to New Haven from New York Tech.

Sophomore Nicole Mika won her first set 6-1 and was tied 1-1 in the second set before the match went unfinished due to the overall score of the match. Gonzalez tied her match up in the second set, winning 6-4 to force a third set before it went unfinished.

The only win for Assumption came after Greyhound player Valeria Sanchez won 7-6 and 6-0 over Chargers’ senior Lilia Rodriguez.
