Justin Bieber Drops the Ultimate Love Album with “Changes”

After a lengthy hiatus, Justin Bieber dropped his fifth studio album “Changes” on Valentine’s Day. According to Billboard, the album was inspired by his super-model wife, Hailey Baldwin.

“This is an album I wrote in the first year of our marriage, so it’s so fresh,” said Bieber. “There’s so much more to learn about commitment, and building trust, and foundation. I’m looking forward to continuing to build and make music that’s going to reflect that. I think I’m excited about this, but I’m just like, there’s so much more.”

Bieber has transitioned into an R&B-pop, heavyweight. He has held that lane without having to compromise.

Bieber has found love and he’s shouting it from the mountaintops. Bieber is illuminated from the love of his relationship and it’s evident from the first song on the album, “All Around Me.” Bieber says, “Never thought I could ever be loyal. To someone other than myself. I never thought I could ever be a spoiler. Guess anything is possible with your help. Anything’s possible since you made my heart melt. Gave me the best hand that I’d ever been dealt.”

These lyrics are routine throughout the album as he is able to match his melodic b-sides with falsettos to share his emotions through each song. “All Around Me” to “Habitual” is almost a perfect lineup to move the album’s mood from slow and poignant to energetic and moving.

Bieber’s ability to provide lyrics that are warm and light-hearted is something that goes unrecognized through the good productions and vocals on “Changes.”

“Changes” represents who Bieber has been for the past five years, someone who is not perfect but is putting his faith in God, love, and then making do with what’s left. Artists from Billie Eilish and Mille Bobby Brown have expressed their love for the songs being so real and true to what everyday people go through.
