“April showers bring May flowers,” but April has also brought a lot of new and innovative music into the world of new releases. Check out The Charger Bulletin’s top 10 favorite new releases:

Everybody — Logic
Logic released title track from his upcoming album Everybody which will make its debut on May 5. The album is structured around the theme of racism as a personally experienced and widely spread issue.

Can I Sit Next to You — Spoon
American experimental rock band Spoon released their album Hot Thoughts in March. “Can I Sit Next to You” is a funky, radio-ready upgrade to their sound.

Shine on Me — Dan Auerbach
“Shine on Me” is Auerbach’s latest song which will be featured on his second album Waiting On a Song. The album will be released via Auerbach’s own label Easy Eye Sound.

HUMBLE.  — Kendrick Lamar
Lyrical genius meets a banging bass to showcase the never-ending talents of hip-hop icon Kendrick Lamar. Fans anticipate that he will release a new album on April 14.

Break Up Every Night — The Chainsmokers
The Chainsmokers released their new album Memories, Do Not Open including collaborations with Florida Georgia Line and Coldplay. The EDM duo will be on tour in the United States and Canada until the end of June.

Sign of the Times — Harry Styles
Ex-One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles drops the boy band label and transforms his sound with a pop-structured, rock-influenced ballad.

Misery — Blink-182
After 25 years as a band, Blink-182 will release a deluxe version of their album California on May 19, including new tracks such as “Misery.”

LEGENDARY — Joey Bada$$ feat. J. Cole
On his new album All-AmeriKKKan Bada$$, rapper Joey Bada$$ explores the struggles of attaining the “American Dream” in 2017.

Can’t Help Falling in Love — Beck
Beck joins an extensive list of artists such as Bob Dylan, U2, and Twenty One Pilots that have covered Elvis’s iconic song.

Bloodstream — Astrid S
Rising Norwegian electro-pop princess is trying to break into the U. S. charts, charting in Australia, Norway, and Sweden. Her sound is reminiscent of older Swedish pop with a modern, slinky twist.
