The end of the semester is near! We all are going to buckle down soon and start studying for finals, but us in SCOPE still have some fun ideas that will keep you relaxed before all the tests coming up.
On Friday Dec. 2, SCOPE showed Crazy Stupid Love in the Bartels Dining Hall, and students were laughing out of their seats by some of the scenes. It was a good crowd and a great movie. Also on Friday, SCOPE did a Tie-Dye and Froyo event, where students made tie-dye shirts and had a couple of flavors of Froyo Yogurt.
On Saturday Dec. 3, SCOPE held a game night in Bartels Hall. Student splayed games like Halo 3, Madden NFL 12, Mario Kart, and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. Students had a blast, and we had numerous winners that day. Congrats to the winners and thank you to everyone who played.
On Tuesday Dec 6, SCOPE showed its last movie of the semester: Columbiana. It was a success, and it had a lot of people come who still were eligible to get free movie tickets from SCOPE if Columbiana was their fifth and final movie.
However, even though that was the last move of the semester, SCOPE still has nice events to end out the semester on a high happy note
On Thursday Dec 8, SCOPE will have a 3D world from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Alumni Lounge. We will have magnet photos which will be holographic 3D pictures and magazine covers.
On Friday Dec 9, SCOPE will be doing the Christopher Martin Christmas Run. The bus will leave at 9:00 a.m. and will be returning by noon. SCOPE will also have Pottery Decorating and Hot Coco from 6:00 -10:00 p.m. in the Programming Space. After that, you can go to the final movie showing of the semester as SCOPE shows Columbiana again at 9:00 p.m. in the Bartels Dining Hall.
On Saturday Dec 10, SCOPE will rock out to the music of Casting Call, The offseason, With the Punches, State Champs, and Lions Lions to headline. It will start at 7:00 p.m. in the German Club.
Lastly, SCOPE will end the semester will a relaxation package with an oxygen bar, massages, and other ways to relax before final exams.
Bring a friend and enjoy the SCOPE Events for the rest of the semester!
