It’s time to pump up your fists and grab your hair gel or hairspray, because the most controversial cast is back in Seaside Heights, New Jersey for the second time in three seasons. MTV unleashed Jersey Shore, the overwhelming exciting hit show to take the Thursday night spotlight.
The seven original cast members, Mike “the Situation” Sorrentino, Vinny Guadagninio, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, “Pauly D” DelVecchio, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, and Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, returned for the third season of the hit show. However, Angelina Pivarnick is out of the show for good. The most hated roommate in the house opted not to sign a new contract with MTV, blaming brutal working conditions and “divas” for her decision to leave the show and is planning on launching her music career, according to www.examiner.com.
To fill the missing gap in the house, Nicole decided to bring one of her close friends to the shore house. Deena Nicole Cortese, a former waitress from New Egypt, NJ, lived 35 minutes away from Seaside Heights. “It definitely help that I already knew Snooki,”said Cortese, who said she has known Polizzi for a couple of years, according to www.northjersey.com. “One of her ex-boyfriends was one of my good friends, so that’s how we met. I just bring good energy into the house, and I think that’s kind of what they (the Jersey Shore cast), needed.”
Watching the first episode, “Back to the Shore,” this season had the same effect as the last two seasons and undoubtedly even more. Deena became completely belligerent in front of “the Situation” and “accidentally” took her clothes off. She also got involved into a war of words with Ronnie and Sammi that led to the second fight between Sammi and Jenni. Both girls were still on rocky terms from the previous season in Miami, especially when Sammi didn’t say goodbye to Jenni, refusing to even acknowledge her. This season, Ronnie and Sammi choose to isolate themselves from the rest of the cast,as they are still together in an awkward relationship.
This season, viewers see Jenni and Tom break up, a break up that occurred in August 2010, while she was filming Jersey Shore Season 3. Jenni was photographed kissing a mystery man named Roger. Tom, ex-boyfriend/manager, sued his ex-girlfriend reality TV star, calming she stiffed him out of $350,000, according to www.examiner.com. According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Tom accuses Jenni of failing to pay him, even though he helped her secure several lucrative deals. Just a few days after breaking up, Jenni filed a police report against Tom claiming that items were missing from the apartment they once shared. This season has proved that it is not going to be short of its own drama.
So what can viewers expect for the rest of this third season? Future episodes include episodes with Sammi getting really emotional with Ronnie, punching him in the face for being friends with Jenni, and Nicole being stalked by her ex-boyfriend Emilio Masella. With many more exciting episodes still to come, viewers have to wait to see if the cast will be able to co-exist together at Seaside Heights once again.

I enjoy watching Jersey Shore on MTV every Thursday night. I can’t get enough of the drama that goes down at the Shore house. Good thing I subscribe to DISH Network so now I can get over 200 national HD channels. That is the most offered by any TV provider! As a DISH employee I can tell you that DISH even offers HD Free for Life as a qualified customer. You should check out DishNetwork.com for more info.
