Derby – A Connecticut police officer is due back in court to face manslaughter and reckless driving charges related to a cruiser crash that killed two teenagers last summer.
Milford Officer Jason Anderson is to appear in Milford Superior Court Tuesday morning. He hasn’t entered a plea yet.
The June 13 accident killed 19-year-old David Servin and 19-year-old Ashlie Krakowski, both of Orange.
An arrest warrant says Anderson was driving 94 miles an hour and was not on an emergency call when the teens’ car turned in front of him on Route 1. The violent crash was caught on video by a camera in another cruiser.
His lawyer has declined to comment, but says Anderson will enter not guilty pleas.
Anderson is on paid leave and free on $250,000 bond.
