Sunday April 29 in the Bixler- Botwinik Quad was a perfect night for a drive-in movie. The event was hosted by SCOPE as an end to a fun filled spring weekend. Underworld Awakening drew a great crowd, so much so that the quad was almost full of students.
SCOPE handed out concert T-shirts and Mardi Gras apparel which was a perfect accompaniment to the movie and chilly night atmosphere. Students were simply elated by the giveaways and even more excited to see the movie.
The Sci-Fi club also handed out movies for both Blu-ray and DVD’s. These movies were of varying titles but all of these movies were of science fiction fantasy origins.
Underworld Awakening is about human forces discovering the existence of the Vampire and Lycan clans. A war then begins to eradicate both species. The vampire warrior Selene (Kate Beckinsale) must lead the battle against humankind as a fight for survival.
