Positives:
-So many renovations and construction projects took place over summer recess. I am so looking forward to coming back to larger, more effective spaces and a redesigned Jazzman’s café!
-FINALLY all my UNH good parking karma has paid off! More parking spots! More parking spots! MORE PARKING SPOTS!
Negatives:
-This is the first of many “lasts” for me. Things like the first issue of The Charger Bulletin, the first club fair of the year, the first time the air conditioning breaks down are all making me tear up. It is going to be an emotional year.
-New Hall has been renamed Bergami Hall thanks to the generous donation from the Bergami family, which would usually be great news. However, now there are 4 dorm halls that start with the letter B. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have a problem with the letter B or anything, I just see some confusion coming on move in day.
The Battery Charge:
-Though the Chargers did lose their game this weekend, that does not mean that the entire UNH community shouldn’t be proud of them for getting so far and doing so well in their entire season. It was great to see that a bus was able to bring so many fans down to North Carolina to see the game. I’m sure our fans there represented the entire school and showed UNH pride for those of us who were not able to go. We should all be proud to be Chargers.
