The Positives:
ChargerConnection is really getting underway. With all of the clubs and organizations listed on there now, we will be getting fewer emails, clubs can post their events for everyone to see, and everything just looks more organized.
Last week felt like a very short week with classes picking up again on Wednesday. It was a nice chance to catch up with everything you may have let drag along during these last couple of weeks.
The Negatives:
Registration always seems to creep upon us earlier and earlier. Now something else has changed to make the process even more enjoyable. Except not!
A fresh cut salad in Bartels at lunch is a great idea, except when the attendant gives you the whole head of lettuce. I’ve seen many people eat half of their salad and throw the rest out. Clearly a whole head of lettuce is too much for some people. We should be able to ask for half a head of lettuce if we so chose.
The Battery Charge:
As everyone should have already seen, if you read your emails of course, the time for class registration has changed from 12:01 a.m. to 6:01 a.m. Students are in an uproar over the change and are asking for reasons why. Will this change reduce the risk of a crash of the server or just lesson the internet usage since no one is up at 6:01 a.m.? It’s a change no one was expecting, and there are still many questions to be answered as the registration process goes underway. We’ll see if this will reduce the stress we all have to go through, or if it will just add to it.
