The Positives:
Even though I didn’t win anything big, I truly enjoyed spring weekend and I want to send out a thank you to SCOPE and every other organizing/helping force on campus for making not only spring weekend possible but also for making all the events over the school year possible.
This is more on a personal note; I want to thank you all for the wonderful year. I have truly enjoyed writing for The Charger Bulletin.
The Negatives:
People, when you are angry at something at UNH and say something along the lines of “I can’t believe I’m paying $40,000 for an event or item” you are in essence being an idiot. You are actually most likely paying less than a dollar. So, stop complaining about every little thing and go find something better to do with your time.
I have come to the conclusion that people don’t really change their thinking patterns (or at least very rarely do). You can have a conversation with a person and iron things out, and most likely in a week or two, they will be back to what they where up to before.
The Battery Charge:
I know this is an expensive university; I pay a lot of it out of pocket myself. Gut for god’s sake, stop looking at every little thing like that’s what you’re specifically paying for. It’s really annoying, and it’s very ignorant. It takes a lot of money to make UNH run, and everything on campus takes such a tiny portion of your tuition. They just all add up. All in all, please just start looking at the big picture please. [Editor’s Note: At most schools, it costs more to run the school than tuition money alone brings in.]
