The Positives:
Well, I don’t know about you, but I did truly enjoy my Thanksgiving Break. It was filled with family, fun, and some-off road ATV-ing up in the mountains of NH with a cute girl.
Winter is almost upon us. You nay-Sayers should look at the positive side of the coming cold: snow ball fights, snow football, hot cocoa, and last, but defiantly not least, snow days!
The Negatives:
I am sick and tired of stupid people doing “Californian stops” at stop signs. I had already been almost hit twice, and it was only Monday!
A word on responsibility. It’s all well and good, especially if you’ve made a commitment. However, sometimes certain responsibilities can make us unhappy. This does not go to say that you should not fulfill all responsibilities that you have under your belt, because people would ultimately appreciate it if you would stick with your obligations. However, if you’re not happy with it and you have a chance to renew or decide not to continue with certain obligations, do some soul searching and decide if it’s in your best interest to get out. If it is, take the chance by all means. You’re here at college to have fun and learn, and you have a responsibility to yourself before anyone else. I just want all you out there to be happy in your choices in life.
The Battery Charge:
I would just like to point out that there are rules of the road for a reason. That means that drivers need to follow them, whether it refers to using a blinker or coming to a complete stop at a stop sign. Most people don’t seem to realize that that rule applies whether there is someone there or not. Pedestrians have the right of way. You don’t want to have to explain to the police why you were in such a rush after you hit someone.
