Positives:

As always I love Halloween, especially the costumes, the candy, the partying, more candy, and all the great things going on around campus. Yes, that’s a tip of the hat SCOPES way for their awesome haunted house and Halloween themed events.

 So a huge shout out to the band Railroad Salvage who played at the PIRO/IEEE/Special events event last week. (Though to be quite honest, it was mostly PIRO’s event.) They were by far the best band I have had play in the German club. For all of you who went, keep an eye out for when they will return, because, believe me, I’ll make sure they do.

Negatives:

Skimpy Halloween costumes.

 Okay, I just want to say that I know the importance of deadlines, guidelines, and such. But come on! Sometimes it just goes way too far. Sometimes there are extenuating circumstances that may make it so that someone has to show up a minute late. Maybe you didn’t even know paperwork had to be filled out for something. To all of you out there who hold the cards in this game, let the little guy have some slack.

The Battery Charge:

Okay, don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the look of a beautiful woman. However, some of the costumes of Halloween just border on the obscene side. If I am walking behind you, I don’t want to be able to see your butt cheeks.
