Positives
It’s good to see all the events going on campus-wide, from SCOPE showing movies and planning events to BSU holding parties at the German Club. I feel as if, the longer I’m here at UNH, the more the school body is getting out to more and more stuff. It warms the cockles of my heart!
You know what I really do appreciate on campus? Squirrels! Yes, that’s right, I said it. Squirrels. I know you have all been thinking it but are too afraid to admit it, but I know I am not the only one who’s day gets brightened up by the sight of those little rodents and scuttling around and getting into shenanigans. So the next time you’re feeling a little down or stressed take a note from the humble squirrel and go climb a tree and get a new perspective on things.
Negatives
I don’t know about you, but when I am told there is a competition going on at UNH it means a chance to win awesome gift cards cards (very important to me because my bank account is slimmer then Grego’s pocket money!). What annoys me, though, is what happens after winning. The gift card promised to me is nowhere to be seen for weeks, or even months afterwards. It makes me feel as if I lip synced Katy Perry’s “Hot and Cold” for nothing!
As much as I dislike Farmville, I have noticed that there have been a lot of complaints about people’s crops dying by not being able to get on with the atrociously slow internet lately. That cannot be! In my mind the only reason crops should be dying is because of the low temperature out (which has been spit hitting ground going ca-chunk cold).
