April is here, and Spring Weekend is coming up soon. SCOPE has events to keep you occupied from now to the Carnival and Concert on April 27-29.
On Wednesday April 4, SCOPE announced who will be performing at this year’s Spring Concert on Saturday April 28. The acts are Dj Earworm, Four Year Strong, and Ludacris. This Year’s Spring Comedian is Stephen Lynch.
On Friday April 6, SCOPE and the Audio Engineer Society had a “Can you Handle the Bass?” Dub step Show in the Quad. We would like to thank everyone for coming out and all the UNH Students who performed and showed off their magic. Also on Friday, SCOPE did another showing of the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Everyone enjoyed it and enjoyed the free popcorn we give away at every Friday showing.
On Saturday April 7, SCOPE celebrated Easter with our Easter Egg-stravaganza. We had an Easter Egg hunt in the Maxcy Quad and people who found eggs had giveaway tickets to win one of numerous prizes offered. We like to thank everyone who came out and participated.
On Tuesday April 10, SCOPE had two events going on. First, SCOPE did an Alice in Wonderland Theme, “A Very Merry UNbirthday” in the Bartels Programming Space. Students got Birthday Chronicles, Numerology, and tea and cookies. Also on Tuesday, SCOPE did a showing of Young Adult in the Bartels Hall Dining Hall.
But not it’s time to come see what SCOPE has to offer this upcoming week.
On Wednesday April 11, SCOPE will have sign ups online to see The Boston Red Soxs take on the Tampa Bay Rays. Signups will start at 9:00 p.m. on ChargerConnection. Check the flyer on the Bulletin Board for details.
On Friday April 13, SCOPE will have two events going on that day. First, SCOPE will hold a Ping Pong Tournament on The Bartels Patio. If it rains, it will be moved to the Programming Space. Then, SCOPE will have another showing of Young Adult in the Bartels Dining Hall at 9:00 p.m.
On Saturday April 14, SCOPE and the Sports Industry Club will be going to Fenway Park to see the Boston Red Soxs take on the Tampa Bay Rays. The bus will leave from Maxcy hall at 12:00 p.m. Make sure you sign up the Wednesday before to be on the trip.
On Tuesday April 17, SCOPE will have its weekly movie showing. This week will be One for the Money. The show starts at 9:00 p.m. in the Bartels Dining Hall.
