April’s here’ and the year is almost over. SCOPE still has events that will keep you fresh and not stressed out from all the school work.
On Wednesday March 28, SCOPE’s Comedy Week continued with the Comedy Fun Fest Event in the Bartels Hall Programming Space. We had a photo booth, balloon animals, and even a mime to entertain the students. Everyone enjoyed the event and really enjoyed the mime.
On Thursday March 29, SCOPE brought Comedian Eliot Chang to perform in the German Club as a part of Comedy Week. He made the students laugh and entertained everyone that was there.
On Friday March 30, SCOPE had one event on campus and one trip. We had our weekly movie showing of Happy Feet 2 as a part of comedy week, and students were able to go to the Hartford Funny Bone Comedy Club. They enjoyed free food and even got to bring home a collectible cup to remember the day.
On Saturday March 31, SCOPE had two events going on on-campus. First, we had a roast of the USGA President Scott Kazar. SCOPE would like to thank all of the roasters and everyone who came out in attendance. We would even like to thank Scott Kazar for being such a good sport and allowing his colleagues to make fun at him. SCOPE and MEISA also brought Caspian and Wess meets West to perform in the German Club.
On Sunday April 1, students took a trip to New York City to see Avenue Q on Broadway. Everyone enjoyed it and enjoyed traveling around New York City.
On Tuesday April 3, SCOPE had its final Beanhouse of the school year. We would like to thank everyone who came out and all of the students who performed this entire academic year. SCOPE also had its weekly movie showing. This week’s showing is The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo.
But don’t forget to come and see what SCOPE has to offer this upcoming week.
On Wednesday April 4, SCOPE will announce to the students who is coming to this year’s Spring Concert. It will happen in the Alumni Lounge at 7:30 p.m.
On Friday March 6, SCOPE will have a “Can you handle the bass?” Dubstep show. It will start at 7:00 p.m. in the Quad. We will have UNH Students performing. We will also be showing The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo at 9:00 p.m. in the Bartels Dining Hall.
On Saturday March 7, SCOPE will be celebrating Easter with our Easter Egg-travaganza. We will have giveaway tickets for students who will participate in our Easter Egg Hunt.
On Tuesday March 10, SCOPE will have two events going on that day. First, from 11:30-3:30, SCOPE will have “A Very Merry Unbirthday” event. It will be Alice in Wonderland themed. Also, at 9:00 p.m. in the Bartels Dining Hall, we will be showing Young Adult as part of our weekly movie.
