Another week has gone by in the Spring Semester, and there was another week of fun SCOPE events planned.

On Friday February 3, CL Lindsay came to UNH to talk about how pictures on a person’s Facebook can be the downfall for any future jobs in a person’s career. Also on Friday, SCOPE had the second showing of Tower Heist. Students enjoyed free popcorn while watching a funny movie.

On Saturday, February 4, students were able to play Laser Tag in the Alumni Lounge, while other students played Capture the Flag and teamed up to beat the competition.

On Tuesday February 7, students heard the comedic laughter of Dan Ahdoot. He made a prank phone call to a family member of one of the audience members, and everyone was ecstatic after the call. Also on Tuesday, SCOPE showed Jack and Jill in Bartels Dining Hall. Students laughed and enjoyed a great movie.

SCOPE also has a lot of fun events coming up in the at the end of this week and at the beginning of next week.

On Friday February 10, SCOPE will do a Wild West Night at 7:00 p.m. in the Alumni Lounge. Students will be able to put their faces on wanted posters, have an antique photo taken, and be able to ride a mechanical bull. Also on February 10, SCOPE will do their second showing of Jack and Jill in the Bartels Dining Hall at 9:00 p.m. Once again there will be free popcorn, because we are giving to away every Friday showing this semester.

On Tuesday February 14, also known as Valentine’s Day, SCOPE will have three events going on. That way everyone can experience the love and excitement that will be coming. First, SCOPE will have a Sweethearts Day in the Programming Space from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. At 7:30 p.m. in Dodds, SCOPE will return with the Female O. Rachel Dart and Marshall Miller will return and talk about sex. And at 9:00 p.m., in the Bartels Dining Hall, SCOPE will be showing the Rum Diary. Remember if you bring your movie card, you will still be eligible to win free movie passes for any movie in theaters.

On Wednesday February 15, SCOPE will have its first Beanhouse of the Semester. The first 50 ladies will receive a rose. An ice cream sundae bar and brownies will be at the event. One lucky performer will receive a 50 dollar gift card, and two lucky members of the audience will receive 25 dollar gift cards.
