It was the final week of classes, and the final week of SCOPE events for the 2011 year and the fall 2011 semester.
On Thursday, December 8, SCOPE had students experience a 3D world in the programming space. Students were able to have a picture of them taken in 3D and also in Holographic form.
On Friday, December 9, SCOPE did its last movie showing of the semester with the showing of Columbiana. A student was lucky to win a 42″television, and other students won free movie tickets to see a current movie in theaters. Students also decorated pottery while drinking hot coco on Friday. And earlier in the day, students were able to participate in the Christopher Martin Christmas Run in New Haven.
On Saturday, December 10, SCOPE and MEISA rocked the night away with our fall send off concert. We had The Homestretch, With The Punches, State Champs, Casting Call, The Offseason, and Lions Lions headlining. Thank you to everyone who came out to the event. Everyone had a blast performing.
On Monday, December 12, we had our last event of the semester with our end of the semester relaxation package. Students were able to relax and not worry about stressing out before finals week.
I hope everyone has a happy and healthy Winter break, and I cannot wait to see you all next semester. SCOPE already has big plans for next semester already, so we hope you are looking forward to it.
