Hello everyone! SCOPE has some pretty cool things planned this week, so listen up! But first off, we have realized what a pain-in-the-butt trip sign-ups can be, and we are working on a brand new plan! Keep an eye out on your emails as we will be sending out more details about the new system in the next few days.
Okay, now on to the good stuff: what’s going on this week in SCOPE!
Wednesday: The film committee will be showing New Moon at 7:30pm in the Alumni Lounge. Come on out, relax, and watch a free movie on us. Also on Wednesday night, the special events committee will be hosting their very first Beanhouse of the semester! It will be at 9pm in the Bartels programming space. Come out and show off your talents! Free hot cocoa and coffee will be served.
Thursday: SCOPE has their weekly meeting, so if you want to get more involved on campus or if you have ideas then stop by our meetings and check out what they are all about. They are at 4:30 in Meeting Room A&B.
Friday: The weekend programming committee will be hosting spin art Frisbees at 6pm in the programming space. Come on out and make a one-of-a-kind Frisbee that you can throw around campus once the weather warms up. There will also be an encore showing of New Moon in the Alumni Lounge at 7:30pm.
Saturday: The weekend programming committee will be hosting a trip to the CT Sportsplex for some laser tag. The bus leaves at 7:30pm outside of Maxcy, and only those who signed up will be allowed on.
Well, that’s it for this week in SCOPE! Keep an eye out each week to see what new events we are planning! If anyone has any trips they would like to see, then you can email them to [email protected]. Thanks everyone, and have a great week!
