Let the adventures begin!

Hello everyone!

My name is Ashley Arminio and I am a Senior B.S. Communication Student. In just a few more days I begin my journey to Prato, Italy where I will be spending the Fall semester.

I was just informed that I will be living in Residence Manassei with two other girls, which has a rooftop terrace with a view of the Prato skyline! My classes are as follows: Art & Renaissance Italy, Cultural Food and Cuisine, Elementary Italian I, Cont. Italian Life & Culture, and an Independent Study.

I’m super excited about my classes and to get to know my new professors. I feel as though these classes are really going to open my mind about the Italian culture and I’m excited to begin learning.

I’m most excited to meet the faculty and get to know the other students; everyone is extremely friendly and excited to meet me. Every time I get a new Facebook message or email, I find myself even more anxious and excited.
