In response to the Charger Battery “Negatives” last week.
Last week I read that a sign here at the Beckerman Center “disgusted” the writer of the Charger Battery. The sign indicates that “instructors reserve the right to refuse admittance to class to any person for any reason.” I just want to clarify that the intention of this policy is simply to protect both the instructor and the participants. Occasions can occur that may make it necessary to refuse admittance into a class but those occasions would absolutely never be discriminatory in nature. Our policies and guidelines have been developed in order to protect the best common interest of the students and members of the Beckerman Center. Should anyone ever feel we have acted discriminatory or disrespectful in anyway I strongly encourage them to contact me directly.
