Food Critic’s Review:
This pie is a winner in my book. Usually I end up being disappointed by pies with pudding-like fillings because they just aren’t ever as good as I want them to be, but despite this pie’s similar look to a pudding based pie, the flavor is a different story. The sweetened condensed milk is the perfect amount of sweet, and when it’s caramelized, the awesome factor gets beefed up. The bananas in this almost make me think of Bananas Foster because they end up coated with the toffee as you eat it, making for a winning combination. If you have a few hours to put this together, I definitely recommend it; you won’t be disappointed!
