I’ve been noticing that I’m already starting to gain weight (the dreaded Freshman 15) now that I’m here at college. What can I do to put a stop to this?

First of all, I’m sure you haven’t gained too much weight, if any (it’d be pretty difficult to gain fifteen pounds in only three weeks!), but if you have any concerns, there are plenty of options. You could lower your intake of classic college junk foods, like pizza, ramen, chips, etc. and try to eat healthier, more balanced meals instead. Another great option is using the gym – you can work out by yourself or with friends, join a class, or even a rec sports team if you want. But, whether you gain weight, lose weight, or stay the same during your college years, just remember that all bodies are beautiful, including yours!
