Always Have A Plan B
This rule is important because in life we know that things rarely go the way we first imagined them, so it is important to have something to fall back on. It always helps to have a backup plan that you have already thought of and can easily fall back on. So when your first plan fails you don’t have to scramble to find a solution. For example, when registering for classes it pays to have a backup class that you would register for if you don’t get into one of your first picks. That way you don’t frantically search for some open class.
