Rule 4: “Get mad, then get over it” – Colin Powell
This is a rule that relates to everyone, because everyone has been faced with times when they get mad at something or someone. The point of this rule is to let the anger out of your system for a minute or two, then get over what made you mad and start searching for a solution to the problem. For example if you failed your test, this would make anyone mad, so be angry for a minute or two, then look to how you can improve on the next test. If you get mad that you failed the test and you continue to stay mad, it will cloud your judgment and make you ineffective at finding a solution to the problem.
