NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The University of New Haven women’s tennis team dropped a Northeast-10 Conference match 0-9 to Saint Anselm College Sunday afternoon at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center at Yale. The Chargers fell to 0-10 overall and 0-10 in the NE-10 with the loss. The Hawks improved to 5-3 overall and 5-3 in conference play with the win.
In No. 3 doubles Christina Santos (Wolcott, Conn./Wolcott) and Jessica MacPhee came close to earning a point with a 8-6 decision. Bre Kraynak earned six games in No. 2 singles, while Martha Petzoldt (Westfield, Vt./North Country Union) won four games.
