We’re back! The Financial Aid Office’s student workers, also known as ‘The Feds’, are back and ready to start the new school year off on the right foot. You might ask, who are ‘The Feds’? We are student workers; our job is to reach out to students, to answer basic questions about financial aid, and to keep everyone updated on important financial aid information, especially deadlines.
Lisa, Jeanny, and Erika are your Feds for the 14-15 academic year! We will be writing articles for the newspaper; both in print and online, and making sure that important announcements are heard on the radio station.
We will also be working on creating posters to be hung in different buildings on campus. We will be updating the Financial Aid Blackboard Group with scholarships throughout the year.
Likewise, we are in charge of updating the Financial Aid Facebook Page. You can find us on Facebook by searching for University of New Haven-Financial Aid Office or going to www.facebook.com/UNHFinancialAid.
“Like” our page for frequent updates throughout the year, and reminders of important deadlines!
Keep an eye out for the posters that will be hung around campus with important information about financial aid! For example, we will be putting up posters to remind UNH students of how vital it is to file their FAFSA “on time.”
Reminders, and other necessary financial aid information, will also be sent out via e-mail, so it is very important you check your UNH e-mail regularly. All financial aid communication will be sent to your UNH e-mail.
Feel free to forward the information to your parents.
You can e-mail us at [email protected] regarding information you see in the online or in the newspaper, hear on the radio, see on posters or flyers around campus, or read on Facebook.
This e-mail address is monitored by students, so personal information should not be sent there!
If anyone has any additional questions regarding financial aid, the office is located in Maxcy Hall, Room 118B.
Stop by and we will be happy to help you!
