While there are basic beliefs and ethics that shouldn’t be compromised, it is nevertheless important that you remain receptive to constructive criticism and suggestions for change. The possibility always exists that not all potential options and solutions are being considered and listening to someone else’s ideas could be the difference between an effective solution and the best possible solution.
