Welcome back, everyone!
I hope all of you had a wonderful break as I did. But not all of break was fun and relaxing for the USGA executive board. The USGA was busy working with the Office of Residential Life, The Charger Bulletin, and the Dean of Student’s office in response to the housing policy that was released in early January.
The USGA executive board was also busy planning the 2010 USGA Spring Retreat. The USGA hosted a retreat for its members last weekend in Boston, MA. 35 members of the USGA were in attendance and sat through sessions on community relations, points, forms, line items, by-laws, and traditions. The attendees also enjoyed some fine dining at Boston’s own Fire & Ice, Dick’s Last Resort, and Maggiano’s Little Italy. The retreat was a great success and many great ideas came out of the discussions that were had. I would like to thank everyone who attended and made the weekend so successful.
I would like to wish you all a great semester. Especially you seniors out there, make sure enjoy this one because it is your last!
Have a great week,
Christopher Rinck
USGA President
