SOUTH EASTON, Mass. – University of New Haven freshman women’s basketball player Anh-Dao Tran has been named to the 2010-11 Northeast-10 Conference All-Rookie Team which was announced Friday by the conference office.
Tran anchored the Chargers’ point guard position for a majority of the 2010-11 season. She played in 21 games and made 17 starts. The freshman was second on the team with 11.5 points per game, while adding 4.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game. She ranked sixth in the conference in assists.
The Chargers recently completed their 2010-11 season with a victory over Adelphi on Wednesday night. UNH concluded the season wit ha 3-23 overall record and a 2-20 record in the NE-10.
