UNH announces the introduction of tripled dorms in the Freshman Residence Hall, now Bethel Hall. At this time, it was the only student housing available on campus.
September 29, 1997
The C-Store at UNH opened for the first time. It was supposed to open at the beginning of the 1997-98 academic year, but was delayed due to lack of a computerized checkout system. The C-Store was originally located in the first floor of Botwinik Hall, not its current location of Sheffield Hall.
