HAVEN–As soon as the Work Place Etiquette Workshop began, the stage of Dodds
Hall was ushered with professionalism.

The
workshop was presented by both Kristin Cruz, the Graduate Assistant for Career
Services and Kathy Forkin, Career Services Director, at different times.

The
workshop acquainted UNH students with the skills required for a position,
getting rid of common mistakes, and the UNH rules and regulations for a job.
The workshop enabled the students to deal with problems at work such as
schedule/time conflict, maintaining focus on students and trouble with a
project/task.

The
workshop concluded by giving the students certain helpful tips such as
correctly and clearly filling out a time sheet, maintaining a clear
communication with the supervisor, maintaining a planner to be on time and
dressing to impress.
