Cincinnati Bengals @ Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles have new life after a last second win over the Bucs. Nick Foles is gaining experience at the quarterback position. The Bengals are coming off a crucial loss to the Cowboys, but remain alive in the AFC Playoff race. Expect the Eagles to put a win streak together.
Green Bay Packers @ Chicago Bears
Both teams aren’t up to par late in the season. The Bears have lost two straight games and are barely holding on to the last playoff spot in the NFC. Green Bay played a good game on Sunday Night Football against the Lions. The Packers should continue their win streak and beat the Bears in a close game at Soldier Field.
Indianapolis Colts @ Houston Texans
The Colts have won 6 of 7 games but face a tough team from Houston. The high-powered Texan team should put enough defensive pressure on rookie quarterback Andrew Luck to slow his game down. Indianapolis should put up a good fight.
Denver Broncos @ Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens are struggling, even in games they win. They need to turn things around or an early exit from the playoffs is coming. Things won’t get easier when they face the AFC West champion Broncos. Peyton Manning continues his quest for another MVP.
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Miami Dolphins
The Jags have dropped off the map after playing well for two weeks. Expect them to reappear when they face a very weak Dolphins team in a meaningless AFC matchup.
Washington Redskins @ Cleveland Browns
RGIII escaped serious injury and should be healthy for the game against the Browns. The Redskins are coming off a win in an overtime thriller against the Ravens. They are one spot out of the playoffs. The Browns have impressed all season long, but don’t have enough to beat the ‘Skins. Cleveland will look to play spoiler and ruin the hopes of Washington fans.
Minnesota Vikings @ St. Louis Rams
The Vikings upset the Bears last week and look to put a streak together. They need to win and get some help to move into a playoff position. The Rams haven’t been bad, but overall, the Vikings are a much better football team. St. Louis has won three straight and look to continue their good end of the season run.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New Orleans Saints
The Saints have struggled a bit this season. They look to beat a Bucs team coming off a loss to a bad Eagles team. New Orleans is in desperate need of getting their players and coach back after the bounty incident. Too many distractions have cost the Saints a good season. Expect them to win at the Superdome.
New York Giants @ Atlanta Falcons
The end of the season is when Eli Manning really shines. This is his time. The Giants look to gain more momentum going into the playoffs after destroying the Saints. Atlanta is good team, but didn’t perform well last week in a loss to the Panthers. This game should entail some drama while the teams lobby for playoff position.
Seattle Seahawks @ Buffalo Bills
The Seahawks put up 58 points last week in a shutout win over the Cardinals. Expect them to do much of the same against the Bills. However, the Bills have kept their recent losses close, losing by an average of five points in their last five losses. Russell Wilson and the Seahawks will win easily in Buffalo.
Carolina Panthers @ San Diego Chargers
The Panthers are trying to gain momentum heading into next season, where expectations will be high. A win over the best team in the NFC last week helps. They will look to take down the Chargers, who have had an ugly season. The Chargers made things better by beating the Steelers in Pittsburgh. Expect a competitive game throughout.
Detroit Lions @ Arizona Cardinals
Nine. That is the number of losses the Cardinals have in a row after a 4-0 start. Last week was ugly in a 58-0 loss to the Seahawks. They Cardinals, however, may put up a good fight against the Lions, who have lost five in a row. The Lions will need Matt Stafford to shine behind center. Arizona needs to find a consistent quarterback that will give them a shot to win.
Kansas City Chiefs @ Oakland Raiders
These teams are two of the worst in the league. This game will be ugly to watch from all aspects. Expect the Raiders to win, which would be their first win since Week 8 (against the Chiefs).
Pittsburgh Steelers @ Dallas Cowboys
The Steelers lost again last week despite the return of Ben Roethlisberger. Injuries continue to plague Pittsburgh. They barely hold on to the last AFC playoff spot. The Cowboys have won two straight games and need to win this game to keep their playoff hopes alive. The game should be entertaining and close, but expect the Cowboys to win.
San Francisco @ New England Patriots
The 49ers don’t have the same powerful team they did last year. A win in New England would have them primed for a playoff run. The Patriots struggle defensively, which could prove costly against the improved offense of the 49ers. Both teams will be in the playoffs regardless of the outcome. Expect an enjoyable game on Sunday Night Football.
New York Jets @ Tennessee Titans
This game isn’t exactly the best game for Monday Night Football. Both teams haven’t played to expectations all season. However, the Jets have won back-to-back games for the first time this season. They will need to continue to win and get some outside help to reach the playoffs. The Titans have struggled all season and are currently on a three-game losing streak. Expect the Jets to win in a close, sloppy game.
