Last week, Scope hosted an Airbrush Tattoos and Gel Sand Art event here on campus. The event was full of anticipating students that were excited by the fun activities presented to them. The Airbrush tattoo is a try and true favorite by all students here at UNH. Most students will get back into line at least once if not more for another tattoo.
The different designs, colors, and placements of the tattoos allows for all students to be pleased. The line for the tattoos grew and grew as word spread, and eventually there was over 30 students waiting in line. Many students love the idea of a semi-permanent tattoos that can express them without any real commitment. With that, many students feel that this event is one that will never get old or boring. Who doesn’t love to express themselves? Airbrush tattoos are a creative and fun way of expressing the student.
Many students were also in awe to the new idea of Gelling Sand Art. Glass containers were filled with multiple types of sand, marbles, shells, and sea glass by the student, and then the host poured a gel over top. After a few minutes to cool, ones creative art is forever incased in a clear gel to be displayed for all to see and admire.
Many students even stated that this was one of most interesting, intriguing, and creative events that Scope has provided this semester so far. This writer partook in the events and not only had a blast but felt that creating something that is your own was the perfect event for the students here at UNH. It showcases each student’s talent and creative mind for all to see and experience.
