WATCH THE DIRECTOR’S CUT! Seriously it makes ALL the difference. Even people who despise the theatrical version admit the director’s cut is pretty good. It’s nowhere near perfect, but it has a lot of things to admire, especially from a visual perspective. Plus we’re not getting a reboot of the character any time soon so this is all we have.
