This past Thursday, Feb. 4, Twisted Thursday was held in the Echlin dinning hall. The event was to make your own street sign. The event had a lot of people there even before 9:30pm, when the event started. The people making the signs were only allowing 100 street signs to be made so when people started rolling into the dinning hall they got a ticket to reserve a plate for themselves.
The signs may have taken a little bit of time to make, but while everyone was waiting, there was a lot of talking and laughter in the air. There were a wide variety of templates to choose from, anywhere from the normal street signs with way, drive, or boulevard on the signs in a wide variety of colors to the more outrageous ones with “danger,” “bio hazard,” and “blank is only allowed to park here” just to name a few. Some examples of the street signs made were; “Love all the way,” “danger the cake is a lie enter at your own risk,” “meant to be boulevard,” “I’m yours drive,” and “bio hazard keep out naughty room.”
The event was a total success and the signs look great on dorm room walls!
