The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is holding daily fundraisers this week for Make-A-Wish Foundation. Their goal is $10,000, the cost to grant a wish.
On Tuesday, the Chargers’ sports teams will take part in “Workout for Wishes” by competing in different challenges and posting their results on Instagram.
On Wednesday, the women’s lacrosse game will be a “Blue Out.” The game begins at 4 p.m. at Kathy Zolad Stadium and SAAC will sell Make-A-Wish wristbands, stickers and coffee mugs, as well as Dunkin Donuts items. On Thursday, stop by Jazzman’s between 2-7 p.m. for a bake sale. On Friday, SAAC will send a link for further donations and will include a chance to win gift cards from local businesses and restaurants.
