“Ignored and Avoided”
Ignored to a point,
Avoided to a cue,
Have a lost a friend,
Or maybe even two.
The Incessant voice,
That screams through my head,
Is it trying to save me,
Or draw my face red.
Did I mess up?
Or did you?
What I did was fine,
Or will I get my due?
You’re tearing me apart,
The avoidance I receive.
Is it all in my head,
Or something I just believe?
