Saturday October 8, 2011 the New Haven men’s and women’s Cross Country teams competed at the New England Championships. The race took place in Boston, Massachusetts at Franklin Park.

The men’s race was an 8K, and they placed thirty-sixth out of 43 other men’s teams. First for the New Haven men’s team was Joshua LeBlanc with a time of 25:52, followed by Matthew Dunham with a time of 27:23, Timothy Nohelty with a time of 28:00, Arnold Lane with a time of 28:23, Matthew Eder with a time of 28:51, Michael Barile with a time of 29:55, and Marvin Azor with a time of 31:39.

The women’s race was a 5K, and they placed thirty-third out of 39. Dominique Stasulli finished first for the New Haven women’s team with a time of 19:71; shortly behind her was Alejandra Cortez with a time of 20:33, Samantha Kiely with a time of 21:02, Aimee Beaudette with a time of 21:12, Danielle Sorrentino with a time of 21:13, Tania Bernardino with a time of 22:04, and Bridget Faria with a time of 22:21.
