Luke Bryan, an American country singer and songwriter born as Thomas Luther Bryan, began his musical career in the mid 2000’s. He plays many different instruments like acoustic guitar, electric guitar and piano. He was signed to Capitol Records Nashville in 2007; he released his album “I’ll Stay Me” on August 14, 2007. On October 2, 2009 he released his second album “Doin’ My Thing,” followed by his album “Tailgates & Tanlines,” on August 5 2011. His fourth album, which was released August 13 2013, was titled, Crash My Party.
I have to say out of his four albums my favorite one at the moment is his previous album “Crash My Party.” As I listened to each of the 13 songs, they all gave me a different vibe from the lyrics.
“That’s My Kind of Night:” The start of the song is very strong and goes along with the beat.
Beer In the Headlights: This song starts off by having the instruments first and then he comes in with his lyrics.
“Crash My Party:” The beginning of the song starts off slow and then gets faster. The lyrics to the song are easy to follow and it makes you want to sway back and forth.
“Roller Coaster:” This song is great because he has the drums slowly playing along with the guitars.
“We Run This Town:” This song is slow at first; however the lyrics are really meaningful and touch you as you listen.
“Drink a Beer:” The song starts off slow and it makes you want to really listen to what the song is about and what he is trying to say.
“I See You:” This song is neat how he has the echo of a yell in the beginning of the song and how he has instrumental parts throughout the song.
“Goodbye Girl:” It has a slow beginning, but the meaning to the lyrics fit the melody of how the song is played.
“Play It Again:” This song has a steady tempo along with a great melody to the lyrics.
“Blood Brothers:” This song has a really touching subject and meaning to the lyrics that are sung by Bryan. It makes you want to tear up as you listen.
“Out Like That:” I like how the guitar starts off the song followed by the drums accompanied by the lyrics sung by Bryan. The tempo is faster towards the middle of the song and picks up.
Shut It Down: The melody and rhythm to the song is on point and fits well with the lyrics.
“Dirt Road Diary:” The beginning of the song has a strong entrance with the drums. The melody is flows well and is strong.
If you get a chance to see Luke Bryan live, make sure you attend a show because he knows how to put on a fantastic performance.
