This past week’s SCOPE movie was Law Abiding Citizen, a crime, drama, action, and thriller film. Law Abiding Citizen stars Gerard Butler and Jamie Foxx and takes place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The movie focuses primarily around the Philadelphia justice system.

Just some of the basics about the movie so nothing gets ruined for those of you who still want to see this movie: Gerard Butler’s character’s name is Clyde Shelton and his wife and daughter are murdered.

Jamie Foxx’s character, Nick Rice, is an attorney who only cares for his conviction rate, instead of justice.

Clyde, upon learning of court room decisions taken by Rice, decides to take matters into his own hands and teach the Philadelphia justice system a lesson. Throughout the rest of the movie, there are a bunch of shocking scenes and a lot plot twists. Law Abiding Citizen is definitely recommended for anyone who likes action packed thriller movies.
