Want to know the latest in PlayStation news? Want to hear your favorite music from such games as Final Fantasy, Xenoblade Chronicles, and Kingdom Hearts? Maybe even reminisce on Parks & Rec? Then check out Team TMG on Charger Radio! Every Monday, online from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., you can hear the hilarious new talk show featuring Hector Ramirez II and his good friend Luis Perez.
Ramirez, a Criminal Justice major who you may recognize from the Charger Bulletin video show Podcast Charge, invited his longtime friend to talk to guys about TV, movies, and games. TMG. Goes to show that you can host any kind of show you want with whoever you want. They don’t have to go here.
Ramirez told us, “I’ve always wanted to host a show where I could talk about TV shows, movies, and video games.” It’s so cool. I stopped by once and this duo is hilarious. Not only do they announce some of the biggest games and movies coming out, their banter is so great. That’s not scripted.
He also shared that he has learned great fundamentals and that it’s way different from making videos on YouTube. He’s learning all he can about the good ol’ switchboard.
Both are stoked about playing music from their favorite video games for sure. Perez said, “The fact that Hector and I are able to play our favorite music from all kinds of entertainment is great.” You can listen to composer Yoko Shimomura’s scores from Kingdom Hearts—first time I’ve heard of a talk show like this. Everything flows together nicely! These guys plan so much for you all.
Ramirez went on to say, “I honestly never thought I would be able to play video game music in one portion, then have my favorite rock song play in the next. It’s one off of the bucket list that’s for sure.” While they talk the very first anime they watched and how brutal both Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead have become, you’ll hear music from that as well.
