It was a great weekend for movie premieres, and one of the movies that came out this past Friday was Immortals.  I know a lot of people were excited for this movie to come out, mainly the guys, but it was obvious that people could expect a great movie from the people that brought you 300.  And the box offices were full people just waiting to catch a showing

This movie has a great story of Greek gods and legends and then even adds another great story to the famous ones.  Hyperion is a vengeful king who wants unleash the wrath of the titans that were caged decades ago by the gods to save the future of Greece.  Hyperion will go to any length to bring destruction to humanity and in turn bring down the Gods.  In secret, Zeus choses a peasant, Theseus, to fight on behalf of the Gods since they are not allowed to get in the middle of human matters.

Not only was the story line great, but there was a great cast involved to put the movie together.  Zeus was played by Luke Evans, who just starred in Three Musketeers, and Henry Cavill starred as Theseus, the mortal chosen to save the lives of the Gods.  The cast, the story, along with the rest of the look brought the movie together.  And if you saw 300 and loved it, then I think this movie is for you.  So stop reading this article and go watch it.
