On Sept. 15, Her Campus New Haven will officially launch at the University of New Haven. Her Campus is a website created by women for women, including stories about news, style, health, beauty, among other categories.

Three Harvard University students, Stephanie Kaplan Lewis, Windsor Hanger Western, and Annie Wang, founded Her Campus in 2009.

Since the website launched, Her Campus has infiltrated over 280 different college campuses around the world, and has more than 7,000 contributors. Many of these contributing writers have continued their careers with MTV, Seventeen Magazine, Buzzfeed, Vogue, and many other big name companies.

Caitlin Duncan ‘17 and Elissa Sanci ‘16, both Communication majors, founded Her Campus New Haven.

Working with Duncan and Sanci is a group of nearly 50 talented and motivated women on UNH’s campus.

Her Campus New Haven will produce weekly content including News, Blogs, Campus Cutie, Campus Celebrity and Snapshots.
