WEST HAVEN, Conn. – The University of New Haven baseball team swept Saint Michael’s College in two games Sunday afternoon. The Chargers took the first game 4-1 behind solid pitching, while completing the sweep with an 11-7 victory in the second game behind solid hitting. New Haven improved to 15-8 overall, while the Purple Knight fell to 4-9 on the season.
New Haven will hit the road for a midweek non-conference game at Dominican College on Wednesday, April 6 before traveling to Southern New Hampshire University on Saturday, April 9 for a NE-10 doubleheader. First pitch in Orangeburg, N.Y. on Wednesday is set for 3 p.m.
