In front of a record 5,407 fans at DellaCamera Stadium, the Charger football team defeated crosstown rival Southern Connecticut State University 48-9. With the win, the Chargers, ranked No. 3 in the country, improved to 8-0 overall and 7-0 in the Northeast-10 Conference.
The Chargers have won each Homecoming game since the football program returned in 2009.
The Chargers also retained the Elm City Trophy for the third-straight season.
More than 500 alumni, family and friends enjoyed lunch while reconnecting with former classmates in the Alumni Tent before cheering the Chargers on to victory.
