Dear Melanie,
Finals are coming up and I have so much work to do let alone study for the actual exams. I feel so stressed and I don’t know what to do. HELP!
-Stressed out Soph
Dear Reader,
The end of the semester is extremely stressful; the work just seems to pile on and there is no light at the end of the tunnel. But there is a way to manage the stress that comes on at this crazy time.
Manage your time correctly and you will feel much less stressed. If you haven’t already, visit the Academic Success Center and one of the counselors can help with time management and organization. Utilize to-do lists and planners and make sure you make time for the CLR for help with editing papers and tutoring.
Take breaks! Your brain will stop taking information in if you don’t. Self-care is very important. Watch Netflix for a little bit, listen to music, take naps, whatever makes you woo-sah for a little bit of time will work.
Get a good night’s sleep and eat a healthy meal before your final! Your brain and body will thank you and do you proud during your exam.
Good luck!
Xoxo,
Melanie
