This is definitely a loaded question, and the way to tell if a guy likes you back definitely depends a lot on the circumstances you are in.

I am guessing that you both have been talking or texting for a while and you are falling for him. First let me say that it is easy for a guy to hide behind his words and seem as though he is more invested then he actually is.

In order for you to know if he is interested or not, you need to see actions. Now I’m not saying he has to go and scream he’s in love with you on every street corner, but a night out to dinner and a movie is always a good first step.

There are a few things you can ask yourself to see if he is interested in you as more than a friend, or a booty call. Does he only ask you to hang out at night? If so, this probably isn’t good. Is he interested in your life, or does he change the subject when the conversation navigates towards your life? If he isn’t interested in the things that make up your “day-to-day” life, then he probably isn’t interested.

Bottom line: if he is making an effort, if he cares more about you then a video game with the guys, if he listens when you need someone to talk to and wants to see you at night just to cuddle… then he actually has feelings for you.

If you’re reading all of this and thinking that he really doesn’t make an effort like he should, don’t feel bad! We’ve all been there. We have all fallen for someone who has been a fake. Those are the lessons in life that we learn by, and the ones that help us learn for the future. I hope that helped!
