Founded in 1938, The Charger Bulletin is the student news source of the University of New Haven. The Charger Bulletin publishes articles that directly relate to college students and the surrounding community. The Charger Bulletin’s staff is comprised of talented students who report about what is important to the University of New Haven community. Positions are open to students of all majors, ages skill levels, backgrounds.

Our programs

The Charger Bulletin

The Charger Bulletin newspaper, ran by Editor-in-Chief Kayla Mutchler, covers campus and national news, student life, entertainment, sports, editorials, and more. which reports about campus and national news, student life, entertainment, sports, editorials, and more. Newspapers are published on a bi-weekly basis and can be found in the blue honor boxes around campus. Articles and the digital version of the paper are also uploaded to chargerbulletin.com, our website since 2007.

Charger Bulletin News

In the fall of 2017, The Charger Bulletin launched its broadcast section, WCBN, and Charger Bulletin News, a weekly broadcast show covering the top news of the week. Episodes are uploaded to YouTube and our social media accounts. Here is a production from the spring of 2021.

Charger Bulletin Magazine

Our brand new media outlet, Charger Bulletin Magazine, is launching this year. As a part of Managing Editor Amanda M. Castro’s honors thesis, a long-form journalism magazine joins the legacy of The Charger Bulletin.
