Most of us know Madonna from her classic singles that have had a timeless effect on the music industry: such as, “Like a Prayer” or “Borderline.”
Madonna decided to release her newest single, “Give Me All Your Luvin,” on February 3, 2012. This release was just two days before Madonna was expected to perform at the Super Bowl (savvy timing).
Her newest single features Nikki Minaj, and M.I.A, and marks Madonna’s return to the music world after taking a break to direct her new movie W.E. This single is a featured song off of Madonna’s new album, MDNA, which is her twelfth studio album. This new release has a lot to live up to after her 2008 album Hard Candy reached the top of the Billboard Charts in 37 countries.
An excerpt from the music video to “Give Me All Your Luvin’” aired on American Idol on February 2, and the full video appeared on Madonna’s YouTube channel the following day.
Madonna has traveled back and forth continuously throughout the past few years between New York, and Los Angeles recording MDNA.” This album also reunited Madonna with some of her past co writers and co producers; so the new tracks are said to bring back a lot of what we all love from the classic Madonna sound, and style.
Madonna is 53 years-old, a Grammy-winning artist, and had the honor of performing at the halftime show (the most watched musical event of the year,) at this year’s Super Bowl co created by Cirque Du Soleil. If Madonna’s not a timeless artist, I don’t know who is.
