Sodexo Orders

Having food at your events is a great way to spice it up, especially as the holidays approach. It is important to keep in mind that all Sodexo orders need to be submitted to me no later than 2 weeks prior to the event date via a requisition through banner as this provides Sodexo with enough time to fulfill your order and provides a way for me to track your spending to make sure that the funds are available. This means that you need to contact catering at least two weeks prior to your event to arrange what you are looking to order.

Once the requisition is completed, be sure to email me notifying me that a requisition has been submitted and what budget line the food expense will come out of. As soon I have the requisition and your available funds have been verified I will email catering letting them know that your order can be processed and you have the funds. I cannot email catering until I know how much food is going to cost and a requisition has been submitted. I want to ensure that all of your events can be a success so be sure to submit be on top of your food orders and have everything completed at least two weeks in advance to make sure that you can have food at your events! It is also important to note that if you would like to use services outside of Sodexo, you must get a food waiver signed by Sodexo and submit them to the Office of Student Activities. If you have any questions about any of these processes, please do not hesitate to ask!
